Manhattan Tornado

An F4 Tornado hit Manhattan Wednesday night. According to the Mercury it touched down in the Miller Ranch and Amherst areas, and weakened to an F1 by the time it reached Kansas State University. There were no reports of serious injuries in Manhattan, but the Chapman area reported two fatalities. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who is going through this tragedy.

The path of the Tornado is marked in blue. My parents were on their way to Guatemala so they were not in Manhattan during the storm. It touched down less than a mile from our home.
